A Certified Cash Flow Specialist™ is uniquely trained to build and create that plan for you: giving you a clear path to your goals, designed with the money you already have.
Growing up in a family that lived payday to payday and used overdrafts and credit to manage living expenses, I knew as an adult there had to be a better way. I saw my parents as seniors struggle with only government pensions and knew I wanted to help others avoid that.
As a divorced mom of 2 toddlers at 37, with income of less than $39,000, I managed to pay off $21,000 of debt, make my mortgage payments and take care of my children. Using the skills I had acquired as a financial planner I knew I wanted to help others not only manage the difficult times but get through them with confidence.
I have a passion for the pieces of the puzzle that make up our finances. Cash flow, taxes, retirement and estate planning all come together at an apex that can be either crushing or comforting. I chose to help find the later for folks I work with.
I have seen in my own family that not fully understanding your relationship with money and the role it says in our lives makes for chaos and always working for money instead of money working for us.
Becoming a CCS not only provides me with a deeper understanding of my own relationship with money but gives me the language and incredibly powerful tools to help my clients.
Ultimately my short term goals (3-5 years), is to change the discussion about money within my own circle, including teenagers, to include positive habits and increased confidence in money.
The most frequent problems my clients share is "we don't know where our money goes". Using Behavioural Cash Flow Planning I can help them find it and go forward making conscious decisions about their spending.
